Welcome to the Metro Long Island Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS), which represents about 12,000 Corvette people throughout the nation and across the globe. We meet to enjoy our favorite car, share experiences, and discuss the development and production of the Corvette. You can learn more about NCRS at www.NCRS.org.

The Metro Long Island Chapter was founded in October 1992 by Vinnie Peters (current Editor of the award winning NCRS publication, The Corvette Restorer), and is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of America's Sportscar here on Long Island. We embrace all generations of the car, and we Judge the first five. If you're new to NCRS, you may be surprised to learn that cars are not judged against each other. They are, instead, judged against a standard that reflects the condition and components of the car as it was delivered from the factory to its original purchaser. That's out Flight Judging program. Modified cars are welcome too! In the NCRS Concours Judging Program, your car is judged strictly on its condition only, and as YOU changed it according to YOUR personal taste.

Our Chapter conducts two Flight and Concours Judging Meets each year, along with multiple Judging Schools and Technical Sessions. We also sponsor an annual fund-raising cruise for charity, and host a fantastic Holiday party. Finally, many Chapter members actively participate in all NCRS Regional and National events. In fact, our Chapter is home to the NCRS President and Region 1 Director, Mark Tulley and the NCRS National Team Leader (1961-1962), Greg Picconi. You are welcome to visit our EVENTS page for details of this year's activitites. Other links at the top of the page will take you to photos of past events and contact information for our Chapter Officers, who are always available to answer any questions. And don't miss our LINKS page, which contains a great deal of valuable information for anyone interested in the Corvette.
